Books and movies are selected for published review using a scoring system that considers and rates four factors:
- Message about love and harmlessness
- Inspiration to experience self as a loving being
- Practicality of steps and/or relevance of message
- For Books: Organization/readability
For Movies: Screenplay/acting/watchability
Each of the four above factors is rated on a scale of 1(low) to 5 (high). Then an average score is calculated. All published reviews have an average minimum score of 3.5 or higher. Keep in mind that this score is a highly subjective opinion and is not a measure of the overall value of the book, which cannot be quantified.
I am open to reviewing any book or movie that offers a love-based message. The message can be derived from any religion or from no religion. It can be spiritually-oriented or more worldly. Some of the most interesting reviews come from books and movies that do not set out with the intention of being spiritual or loving.
Mostly, I prefer to review books and movies based on personal subject preference and/or serendipity. However,
