And love is too big, too mysterious, too formless to fit into a comfortable one-size-fits-all box. Therefore, no attempt is made to define love or to put any constraints on how love is expressed or experienced.
Instead, it's much easier and more practical for us to begin to recognize love by understanding what it isn't. And quite simply, love is not attack. Or said another way, love is always harmless to self and to others. Of course, we cannot be 100% harmless here on planet Earth because of the nature of our humanly existence, but we can aspire to be as harmless as possible.
Our collective mission, then, is to begin the great, quiet, subtle undoing of all the ideas and actions we erroneously perceive as loving, but that aren't.
